Black Uprising - BLM Protest Photo Book

The murder of George Floyd caused huge civil unrest in this country. This sparked a series of protests in multiple cities against systemic racism toward Black people. In 2020, for more than 100 days, Portland was the center of national attention while fighting for Black lives. I attended over 75 protests all while capturing this historic time in Black liberation through my lens - a bi-racial Black woman. I've shared over 1000 images on my Instagram but now have gone through each image one by one and now published a photo book!
